ATLAS MAP for UNIX is a pair of products designed to allow software developers to rapidly integrate custom geographic mapping capabilities into their applications. The ATLAS MAP package consists of an X-Windows WIDGET and a `C' language TOOLKIT for incorporating maps with dynamic symbols and overlay graphics into your application. Because its an X-Window widget, you set its attributes (eg - map center, projection, zoom factor, etc.) the same way you would any other widget. The toolkit provides a host of routines for creating and manipulating high performance, dynamic symbology and map overlays.
